Holly's Harps activities make strong curriculum connections. Exact topics depend on the activities you choose, the ages of your students and the length of your program. At your request we can tailor a Holly's Harps program to support a particular unit of study in music, science, math, history, language arts, stage craft, leadership development, community service or other areas.Age-appropriate Holly's Harps activities are available for pre-school, primary, intermediate, middle school, and even adults! Holly's Harps activities can be adjusted to meet the special needs of learners with disabilities. |

MusicLearn musical concepts firsthand. Develop the concepts of pitch, rhythm, meter, melody, harmony, dynamics. Play real harps (30 harps provided for participants to use). Try solo and ensemble playing. Experiment with improvisation. Participate in a successful musical performance. Develop rehearsal skills, practice professional stage behavior. Interact with professional musicians. Learn about music-related careers. Find out about the life of a full-time musician. Perform in a concert for parents and community (optional). Hear a variety of music on harps. Listen to old and new songs, classical and popular selections. Listen to identify special sounds. |
