Lyrica,
Inc. is a not-for-profit arts and education organization. We believe
that the arts should be available to all members of the community.
Some of our
outreach and performance programs include:
• The Holly's
Harps program, which serves students pre-school through middle school
with assemblies, hands-on workshops, and residencies.
• Additional
interactive and hands-on programming for special populations in
cooperation with organizations that serve senior citizens, people
with disabilities, and neighborhood centers.
• Recitals
by our award-winning trio of harp, flute and cello.
• Consultation
and support for development of school or community music programs;
in-service offerings for educators and parents to help integrate
music into the classroom.
• Special
topics lecture/recitals for audiences in museum or other community
forums.
• Music
in public spaces in cooperation with civic-minded corporate partners.
• Performance
for general audiences, with particular outreach to neighborhoods
undeserved in live classical music.
• Commissioning
and performance of new classical music; support for interaction
of composers with students.
